Rail Signal Sighting & Driver Training Simulator
A driver's-eye rail simulator with two jobs: verify signal sighting against standards before infrastructure is built or altered, and train drivers on routes they haven't run yet.
Signal sighting issues found after installation are enormously expensive to fix — and drivers can't train on infrastructure that doesn't exist yet.
[Flesh out: client/network, the corridor or project, and the standards applied.]
We built a cab-view simulator over accurate track geometry and signalling, with sighting assessment from the driver's position and route-familiarisation runs for training.
[Flesh out: data sources (track geometry, overhead wiring, signalling), assessment reporting, training deployment.]
